About Me
Hello! My name's Sam, and I’m a technical game designer. I’ve been making games for over 5 years, and will be for many more to come! I'm proficient in both Unreal Engine 5 and Unity, and specialize in iterative design and gameplay prototyping.
If I want to understand how a game feature might feel within a project, I just quickly prototype it! I'm a big fan of creating and understanding how a feature fundamentally feels before taking it further in development.
I graduated with my Master's in Human Computer Interaction in 2024, which has really helped me develop a focus on expected player-experience during my design process.
My favorite games include FPS and Strategy games, like Halo and Slay the Spire (now 2)! Lately, I've also fallen in love with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, after playing through them with my wife!
